The Sorenson Impact Center's Project DEEP is a video series that aims to make investing and entrepreneurship more accessible to women and people of color. In Course 3—Scaling through Systems—I approached the design with a strict grid and simple iconography in mind to emphasize a "system".

For Project Deep's 4th course, I included various stereotypically feminine images, which were then subverted by the empowering content presented in the course.

A project by my friend, composer Kagan Breitenbach, Bloody Cabaret combines rock and pop sensibilities with a chamber orchestra, and a folk-style lyricism. It's all a bit macabre! I've designed album covers and posters, as well as the motion titles for the visual album, as you can see below. You can watch/listen to the entire album on Youtube.
I created numerous animated videos explaining science concepts at the University of Utah's Genetic Science Learning Center, both in 2D and 3D. Here's a small selection.
The Tour of The Basics includes several videos which demystify the basics of genetic science, from chromosomes and alleles to inheritance and coding for proteins.
Adaptation explains how, through the dual mechanisms of reproduction and natural selection, organisms change over time.
A more in-depth version of "Adaptation", Unity and Diversity of Life delves into the origin of life and how it evolved into the wide variety of species in every kingdom of life we see today.
Serving as an aesthetic template for the Genetic Science Learning Center's microbiology videos, How a Firefly's Tail Makes Light shows the busy interior of one of a firefly's light-producing cells, and how proteins react with other chemicals to produce light.
